Job Description:/h3:
The Project Engineer is a professional with 5+ years of experience. This individual will provide engineering services on all phases of an assigned project under the supervision of the Regional Manager, or Project Manager.
:Perform design coordination with both the in:house design team as well as the client
:Prepare plans and specifications for infrastructure improvement projects.
:Perform construction administration services including attendance at project meetings, construction observation, review of as:built quantities, preparation of payment documentation, etc.
:Prepare project related correspondence.
:Prepare reviews of applications before client land use boards.
:Attend night meetings and hearings of client governing bodies and land use boards in support of Project Manager
Maintain project budgets and monitor billing status.
:Strong oral and written communication skills
:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
:Proficient in AutoCAD(r) Civil 3d computer aided design software
:Proficient in the MicroSoft Office Suite of software products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
:Knowledge of civil engineering practices and principles including, but not limited to stormwater management design, traffic design, and other site design related specialties.
:Knowledge of the Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL) and its application to land development applications.
:Ability to work in groups as well as individually
:Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four:year college or university.
:Municipal Engineering experience is required.

:PE License Required OR sufficient design experience for license to be imminent
:EIT or Fundamentals required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee may also be required to attend night meetings in support of the Project Manager. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. The employee must have dependable personal transportation to allow travel to meetings and construction sites.
