We are adding a new Production Planner to our team. The Production Planner/Scheduler supports the organization by managing material and scheduling requirements that support material flow activities to meet internal and external global customer needs. You will develop and execute strategies that provide a positive customer experience, providing outstanding service and satisfaction. You are driven, customer focused, detail oriented and have a sense of urgency.


:Review and execute planning MRP (SAP) messages to meet Tools and Spares manufacturing requirements
:Develop and build relationships across the supply chain, with internal and external customers
:Review and process Engineering Change Notice
:Review and process Material Review Board Notifications according to material disposition
:Manage Inter:company purchase orders
:Provide Available To Promise dates and commitments to Customer Service Orders
:Collaborate with cross functional groups including logistics, supply chain, sales and engineering
:Actively participate in various planning meetings, for example Production and Contract Manufacturing Meetings
:Support inventory reduction initiatives to meet cost targets


Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent work experience. Experience in a contract manufacturing capital equipment environment preferred. MRP planning experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

:At least 2 years of production planning experience is required
:Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred
:APICS Certification preferred
:Basic computer skills: Windows, MS Word and Excel
:Attention to detail, commitment to quality and a sense of urgency
:Ability to travel to manufacturing site in Kingston, NY for the first few months for training is required.
:Local candidates preferred.
