Job Description:/h3:
The Field Engineering Project Manager is a professional with 3:5 years of experience in site and infrastructure construction. The Field Engineer will be part of the Government Infrastructure Services Team and will report to the Department Head. In this role, the Field Engineer will interact with Remington and Vernick project sites, clients, and management to support the planning, inspection, and technical review of submittals for a given project. Directs Construction Observers and Resident Engineers based on general policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed on completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

:Responsible to act as the Project Manager to one or more Agencies, Municipalities or other public agencies. The client manager will act as the single point of contact between the firm and the client. He/she will supervise and coordinate all projects performed in the firm on behalf of the client, to the clients satisfaction.
:Develop proposals, fees and cost estimates as needed for submission to proposed clients.
:Support planning and technical issues, RFIs, material issues and other support issues to assist Construction Observers and Resident Engineers on the day or night shift.
:Reviews project proposal or plans to determine time frame, budgets, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.
:Develops and supports safety plans and procedures, assures conformance to company guidelines and practices.
:Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems in the office and field.
:Coordinates and/or attends design, construction, and pre:bid meetings.
:Lead responsibility over Construction Observers and Resident Engineers; work performed with minimal supervision.
:Functions as a technical specialist.
:Assures effective utilization of personnel, and technical quality.
:Attend regularly scheduled meetings conducted by clients in the capacity of Project Manager. Prepare and present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, project status reports and developmental review projects.
:Provide technical advice to clients regarding design, construction, or capital program modifications.
:Transportation Engineering experience preferred
:Strong oral and written communication skills
:Ability to make public presentations
:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions to present to co:workers and clients.
:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
:Knowledge of computer aided design software
:Ability to work in groups as well as individually
:Valid Drivers License is required

:Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (any discipline) from an accredited four:year college or university.
:3+ years of Field experience is required.
:NJDOT, PennDOT experience is preferred.

PE License Required OR sufficient design experience for license to be imminent
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
