Our maintenance department has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician position based at Morristown Municipal Airport. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience and hold a valid Air frame and Power plant license. Job Description

Qualified candidates will perform, repair, and install aircraft engines and accessories in accordance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. Conduct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, engine and structural components and systems. Document procedure per established processed to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment and complies with 14 CFR, manufactures specifications, the GMM, Company policy and procedures as well as other methods accepted by the FAA and OSHA when accomplishing maintenance.

Performs maintenance mechanic duties in all areas inside and outside the hangar..

Troubleshoots all aircraft systems..

Completes all department internal company forms, maintenance records, documents, work orders, etc. including performing maintenance computer system transactions as required..

Adheres to established work schedule. Participates in shift meetings and briefings as required..

Adheres to recurrent training, including required FAA AMT training, and keeps necessary licenses and certification up-to-date.


High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must hold a valid Airframe and Power plant license
Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Be a U.S. Citizen or upon hire show proof of right to work in the U.S.
Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to perform service operations outside and in extreme temperatures and inclement weather
Requires stretching, bending, and climbing
Excellent vision and hearing required to detect problems and conduct inspection
Knowledge of simple arithmetic
Proven ability to trouble shoot mechanical issues and use manuals to determine effective solutions
Dassault /Falcon experience preferred
Be a self-motivated team player
Able to successfully complete a DOT background investigation, pre-employment drug test
