Job Description:/h3:
Our Eastern Regional Sales Associate (Eastern RSA) will be based within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA. Our Eastern RSA will sell our full line of high purity fluid handling products directly to clients and through our distribution channel. Our Eastern RSA will assist in training and developing our existing and new channel partners. Our Eastern RSA will also assist IPS management with field data and intel, gathered from clients and industrial networks, to identify future growth products, markets and technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Eastern RSA essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
:
Initiate and follow up with distribution channel and customers for the purpose of selling IPS solutions
:
Contact current and prospective distribution partners and customers to explain, train and sell IPS solutions
:
Prepare and present proposals and quotations as well as recommend sales strategies
:
Create, prepare and process various sales documents and forms
:
Assist with the preparation of marketing and sales budget, channel partner discount lists and product price lists
:
Assist with the preparation of marketing and advertising materials
:
Maintain and update our IPS CRM contact databases
:
Attend IPS related exhibitions, seminars, and meetings to capture leads
:
Report to IPS management latest developments, trends, and market activities
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
:
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, but not required)
:
An accumulation of three years minimum related experiences:
:
Valve sales or other fluid/gas handling product sales,
:
Selling direct and through channel partners (preferred in industrial market),
:
Direct territory sales, field customer support and distribution experience,
:
Fluoropolymer fluid/gas handling products
:
Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and purchase documentation
:
Ability to write weekly and monthly Eastern RSA Territory Reports and regular business correspondence
:
Ability to establish client rapport, present information, and respond to questions from employees and customers.
:
Proven ability to meet and engage customers, listen to customers, and technically sell customers
Travel
:
Monthly domestic travel within territory (8 to 11 nights per month)
:
Local car travel and domestic air travel as necessary to cover territory and support sales growth
