Job Description
Our client is looking for an Account Manager to develop new and existing accounts with Small, Medium and Enterprise level businesses to sell training and employee development products and facilitation.
Role and Responsibilities:
:Developing and implementing a sales strategy that includes prospecting for new clients and managing inbound leads
:Developing, growing and managing an active professional network of decision makers, referrers, connectors, industry leaders, meeting planners and trainers who are important to the sales process for successfully marketing individual and organizational development products and services
:Identifying key professional associations to join and participating as an active member of those associations to create an industry presence
:Identifying and qualifying sales leads and/or target accounts and developing plans and strategies to obtain current business and create ongoing relationships
:Setting up and managing meetings (face to face or virtual) to identify needs and ultimately deliver proposals
:Generating sales from new clients and additional business from existing clients
:Tapping into existing network to introduce products and services
:Building, growing and maintaining a professional network of clients, potential clients, connectors and resources
:Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients to achieve retention and encouraging business
:Engaging in the necessary administrative activities and functions required to build and maintain a sales system and database including reporting, data generation, and data tracking and analysis
:Functioning in a professional manner and maintaining a high level of business and professional ethics
:Undertaking special projects as needed
:Meeting established goals, objectives, plans, budgets and sales metrics
:Attend conferences as required.
