Summary of Responsibilities:
The Director of Practice Growth takes a leading role in assisting senior management in growing the practice in the Philadelphia region with multiple offices, through traditional services, as well as contributing to the diverse growth opportunities of expanded consulting services. This person plays a major role in developing and implementing best practices in business development, sales, marketing and segment (service lines and industries) development for the firm, as well as aiding in positive growth while enhancing professionalism and image of the firm. This position is supported by aggressive, forward thinking management.
Essential Functions
Strategic Growth:
With direction from Managing Shareholder:
:Assists in developing and implementing the recommendations outlined in the firms annual practice growth plan.
:Develop strategic growth plans and assist with marketing budget development with Department Leaders and their respective service group leaders
:Develop and execute comprehensive support plans and budgets to assist Industry Group Leaders in driving lead generation and new revenue
:Develop and execute comprehensive support plans and assist in marketing budget development with Location Leaders to achieve their growth goals for their respective markets
:Monitors industry both internally and externally to identify new opportunities and prospective market segments
:Works with firm leadership team in development and support of key client relationships
:Represent firm and strengthen brand through strategic industry and community relationship building by becoming engaged with industry professional and community organizations
:Oversee pipeline reporting for locations and industries
:Recommend and manage practice development training programs to enhance inclusivity of firm wide practice development
:Serve on committees as appointed to provide strategic direction
Business Development:
Assist the Managing Shareholder with the following:
:Enhancement and support of the pipeline process
:Identification and implementation of appropriate lead generation campaigns
:Identification of needs and acquisition of lists for business development purposes
:Support of the firms sales processes including but not limited to training, coaching and other activities that drive profitable revenue
:Support, design and implementation of a Client Service Planning process to secure our largest, strategic and at risk clients. The objective is to drive additional revenue and enhance relationship management
:Support opportunity development and proposals as approved by Leadership
:Develop, implement and monitor activities to ensure client loyalty and the core revenue stream
Marketing:
Assist Practice Development Team with following:
:Support marketing communications strategy and implementation
:Assist with outside vendor relationships and ensure they align with Firm vision.
:Maintain and enhance brand management
:Develop and support SWOT team process for opportunity pursuit.
:Support and enhance the firms social media strategy.
:Support database strategy and implementation.
:Support and assist in planning firm:related events that drive growth.
:Support initiatives in speaking, writing articles or white papers and other thought leadership for professionals.
:Drive appropriate market resear
