Leasing Agent
Job Summary : Shows and lease apartments to prospective residents and support properties marketing plan in the Middlesex County South Brunswick area. Full time hourly plus commission.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following but not limited to the job specifications herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed maybe required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
:Complete lease form or agreement .
:Thorough knowledge of lease terms, and limits
:Knowledge of required phone telephone and sales technique.
:Market knowledge thru visits to other rental properties and surveys as needed.
:Fully aware of current rental rates, size ,locations and all amenities of the property.
:Must be willing to contact local businesss for our market outreach program .
:Develop full knowledge of company policy for applications and screening procedures regarding rentals.
:Completing tenant files and collecting all move:in monies when due.
:Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property and residents.
:Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/Experience; High Scholl diploma or GED ;or one year experience and/or training ;or a combination of both education and experience.
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such pay stubs, passports, other documents pertaining to the leasing process.
Mathematical Skills: The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts prorate amounts ,and commissions.
Reasoning Ability: the ability common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The ability to with everyday problems with various scenarios and situations.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these duties. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger , handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk ,sit and reach with hands and arms. the employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, crouch. kneel, crawl ,climb ,taste and smell. The employee must have the ability to pick up move up to 25 lbs.
Vision Requirement: The ability to see close up, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
Compensation: Position is full time hourly base pay plus commissions :leasing and renewal.
