In this role you will be responsible for:The day-to-day operations of a primary care practice, ensuring that Einstein policies and procedures are adhered to, as well as working in the front and/or back office of the practiceSupervising all staff and overseeing all office and patient care functions while ensuring that the Einstein Code of Conduct is practiced at all timesSpending approximately 70% of their time overseeing and assisting with administrative operations within the practice, including personnel, facilities, supplies and inventoryThe other 30% will be spent performing day-to-day clinical and/or non-clinical duties which include, but are not limited to: rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, injections, blood draws, EKGS, point-of-care testing, answering phones, reconciling payments, entering referrals, and other front desk duties as neededThis position requires providing service to the pediatrics, adult, older adult, and frail elderly age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual servedIf you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants is required (5 years of continuous MA work in a very similar setting may be considered as equivalent to an accredited MA program)Minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a similar setting is requiredMinimum 2 years of management/leadership experience is requiredKnowledge/familiarity with ICD9 codes, CPT coding and medical terminology is preferredAbility to coordinate and set priorities, have computer proficiency, and have knowledge of insurance and billing procedures requiredAbility to comprehend, review, and maintain budgets, quickly learn and perform in all aspects of office practice procedures and policies including day-to-day clinical duties requiredCPR through the American Heart Association required for Medical AssistantsPhysical Demands:Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, bending, reachingVisual Requirements: Ability to read patient charts, equipment and the likeHearing Requirements: NormalWorking Conditions: Medical office setting with universal precautions
