Position Summary:
Exciting opportunity to define and implement key launch strategies for Glenmarks first branded innovative product in the US market. This product, which is a fixed:dose combination of mometasone and olopatadine administered as a nasal spray for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, is currently in Phase 3. NDA filing is expected within the next 12:18 months.
The Marketing Director will be charged with solidifying the launch strategy for this product and acting as the key point of contact with the extended team. He/She will also be responsible for overseeing the launch planning process and the day:to:day operational activities of product launch. Activities will include finalizing positioning and key messages and developing the promotional campaign, pricing and contracting framework, and sales force training and roll:out plan in collaboration with relevant functions. A successful candidate will be skilled at prioritizing strategic initiatives, developing and executing work plans, identifying and overseeing agency partners, communicating information to stakeholders, facilitating external stakeholder discussions and
preparing/validating product forecasts.
This role reports to the Vice:President of Commercial, Specialty and Innovative and will require interaction with groups across Glenmark, including Sales, Market Research, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Legal/Compliance and Manufacturing. In addition, there will be ample opportunities for interaction with Senior Management in Mahwah and in India. As launch planning progresses, this position will also involve overseeing direct reports. This role provides a unique opportunity for growth as Glenmarks respiratory portfolio expands in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop launch plan, promotional platform and sales materials that will support successful commercialization of flagship innovative respiratory product
Manage forecasts and expenses
Create comprehensive plan to supplement sales force efforts through non:personal means
Provide input to pricing/ contracting decisions and sales force planning
Increase awareness of Glenmark among key external stakeholders
Obtain data needed to inform launch decision:making and assess performance
Represent commercial point of view with product development team leading up to NDA filing and through launch

:Bachelor of Science degree (life science major preferred) from a leading institution with a record of strong academic achievement.
:Advanced degree (MS / MPH / MBA) preferred.

:8:10 years of progressive experience in Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry with a preference for respiratory therapeutic expertise.
:Experience managing and/or launching a pharmaceutical brand in the US market.
:Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred but not required.

:Strong Marketing functional expertise and analytical skills.
:Ability to lead and manage a team along with an ability to build cross:functional relationships that facilitate project advancement while working in a matrix organization.
:Ability to organize and structure activities.
:Ability to effectively lead and facilitate client discussions, and manage external agencies.
:Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, and organize and prioritize work.
:Comfort with ambiguity and working in an environment with limited structure.
:Must be detail oriented and motivated.
