## Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for University Procurement. Reporting to the University Travel and Card Programs Manager, the incumbent in this position is responsible for auditing travel and business expense reports for all levels of university employees, and verifying compliance with the university s travel and business policy.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
* Independently reviews, analyzes, approves or rejects requests for university fund reimbursement.
* Interprets and communicates the university s travel and business expense policies and procedures to all staff, and provides support to all users of the university s expense reporting tool technology.
* Provides the highest level of professional and courteous customer service to all users.

## Minimum Education and Experience
* Bachelor s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of office administration, work organization, coordination, facilitation, accounting and/or report writing principles and practices
* A minimum of two years relevant experience
## Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with little or no supervision and demonstrate experience resolving business problems using independent judgment.
* Must be detail orientated with strong organization skills.
* Must demonstrate ability to think outside of the box and creative approach to resolving issues.
* Must demonstrate the ability to work successfully under pressure and in high-demand and stressful situations.

* Demonstrated time management skills with a proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
* Must demonstrate analytical and negotiation skills.
* Must possess strong oral, writing, presentation, and customer service skills and a have strong business acumen, with the ability to adapt in ever-changing environment.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Working knowledge of expense, purchasing, card program and accounts payable operations and principles
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Experience in working with automated Oracle expense systems
* Experience with purchasing and account payable systems, preferably Oracle and MarketPlace
* Proficiency at using Microsoft s suite of Office products
