Job Summary 13;
As a member of the individual and principle giving team, provide program support for a diverse set of initiatives, projects, events, meetings and activities to help meet the goals of a fast:paced Development department. Work closely with other team members, as well as with members of other areas including Donor Relations, Prospect Management and Strategy, Gift Processing and Development Services to assist with all aspects of project management.
Job Responsibilities 13;
Assist the Individual and Principle Giving Team as Required
:Manage records, databases and spreadsheets for individual and principle giving program.
:Prepare and execute large, complex mailings using mail:merge skills.
:Make follow:up calls as needed for special programs and events related to the individual giving team.
:Utilize Raisers Edge (RE) to perform address and biographical updates, enter notes, create mail merges, labels and envelopes; create exports for spreadsheets.
Provide Special Project Support:/h4:
:Manage and coordinate activities and projects related to individual and principle giving.
:Implement all event specific logistics and components including but not limited to: site selection, audiovisual, catering, entertainment, speakers, and registration.
:Research vendors and obtains bids.
:Secure and recommend volunteer and staff support for events when necessary.
:Support the individual and principle giving team with cultivation, stewardship and recognition events.
:Schedule and coordinate meetings for projects by reserving facilities, submitting catering requests, and coordinating travel/lodging arrangements.
:Interact with key Hospital donors and prospects at events.
:Track event attendance, prepare agendas, briefing and event packets.
:Run donor/event reports and retrieve information in response to supervisor and team requests.
:Monitor Salesforce and Raisers Edge information as it pertains to proper maintenance of prospect and donor records, and run regular proof queries to ensure pertinent data is properly added.
:Assist with management of the Boards of Visitors, including meeting planning and execution
Participate in special Hospital projects and lend support as needed and assigned
:Assist the individual giving team in managing major Hospital initiatives, projects and events..
:Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that fosters teamwork with colleagues.
:Maintain relationships with existing donors and develop relationships with potential donors.
Provide Administrative Support
:Provide general assistance, including: answering internal and external phone calls, routing and screening callers, taking messages and providing routine information to callers promptly and courteously, and arranging appointments.
:Communicate with donors via phone.
:Order supplies, fax documents, file and shred documents
:Maintain calendars and/or schedules of events.
:Assist staff with technical issues (Word, Excel, Outlook) as required.
:Process individual giving team expenses and travel requests.
:Participate in SalesForce Raisers Edge cross:training and event module training. 13;
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations 13;
Required Education and Experience 13;
Required Education: Associates degree
Required Experience: At least two (2) years work experience
Preferred Education, Experience and Cert/Lic 13;
Preferred Education: Bachelors degree
Preferred Experience: Background in Development, Special Events, Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications preferred. Experience with events/meeting planning preferred.
Additional Technical Requirements 13;
:Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
