The Global Audit & Assurance (GA&A) Products and Solutions organization supports the achievement of our 2020 Strategy to be recognized as the undisputed leader of the profession by all stakeholders.

The Information and Knowledge (InK) team within the GA&A Products and Solutions organization is currently seeking experienced audit seniors and audit managers with audit experience to continue to build out a high performing centralized team dedicated to supporting the development, deployment and management of Audit and Assurance content, and transformation of our tools and processes to support our next generation audit platform. This centralized team will work closely with the member firms and other expert bodies within the firm to develop, maintain, and deploy high-quality content to our network of member firms, supporting the global audit quality agenda and to provide content in response to the rapidly changing regulatory environment. This assignment offers significant development and professional enrichment opportunities, including the chance to work as part of a co-located global team.


Candidates will be responsible for working with Global Audit leadership in shaping the global content agenda. The global content group will work under the direction of the Audit Quality Board and the Audit Technical Advisory Board. Current focus areas include the consistent adoption of our audit methodology, including audit transformation, the use of data analytics to monitor audit metrics and audit quality milestones, and the updates of our existing ISA-based manual and PCAOB-based manual.

Additionally, they will be responsible for the development and maintenance of content in conjunction with member firm and other expert resources including, the US member firm for PCAOB and US GAAP content, the Global Audit Standards and Methodology Group for ISA, ISAE, ISRS, and ISRE standards, the Global IFRS Leadership Team (GILT) for IFRS standards, and the global industry leaders for industry-related content. Responsibilities will also include monitoring the use of the content and working with the member firms on their supplementation efforts. This will involve working with the Content Leaders Group and deployment and adoption leaders in the Member Firms, as well as the member firm NPPDs.

The InK Team has served as an incubator for high potential professionals to obtain experience working on the deployment of a global solution and also provide them unprecedented exposure to our global network of audit leadership.

Education: Professionally Qualified or Certified Auditor/Accountant (e.g., CPA / CA / ACCA) Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience leading and delivering audit services, preferably over various audit engagement types Skills: Strategic thinker with strong collaborative and communication skills. Strong client service delivery skills and the ability to manage a project to completion in a complex environment. Strong working knowledge of the DTTL audit approach and enabling tools and technologies, including EMS Member firm national office experience, including the development of content for EMS Strong problem solving capabilities, with an interest in innovative and creative thinking Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) Strong problem solving and systems thinking capabilities Interest in working on strategic initiatives in a collaborative environment Self-directed and are comfortable working independently and without daily supervision Ability to productively manage and work within a virtual team Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) If you would like to be considered for this role in the GA&A Products and Solutions organization Content group, please submit your interest according to the instructions included in the email message to which this job description is attached.
